1. Valve opens once water level drops to where weight of adjustable arm (A) and lack of buoyancy, forces fixed arm (B) past vertical. 2. The rise in water level lifts float attached to the adjustable arm (A) forcing fixed arm (B) back towards vertical. 3. As water level rises further, the float attached to the fixed arm (B) reaches an equilibrium point. 4. Once float attached to fixed arm (B) passes vertical, its buoyancy forces the lever upwards. This action closes the valve.   The ultimate in stock trough float valves!   The armless trough valve that resists stock damage and saves on running costs! Designed primarly for open & unprotected troughs, equipped with a patented self cleaning valve mechanism to minimise blockage.
